Date: Friday, August 11th, 2023
Time: 9 AM - 4 PM
Teacher: Sue Heinz
Here's what you'll need to bring:
- 0.7mm mechanical pencil (like the Bic Brand available at local stores) and a ballpoint pen, each with a COMFORT GRIP.
- Unlined, smooth surfvaced paper (loose leaf or pad), for notes and a few drawings.
Spend time with Sue Heinz learning to create a symphony of background designs that harmonize well together on any type of quilt - or use just one for a dramatic textural effect. You'll learn how to draw an array of Sue Heinz's unique free-motion and grid pattern backgrounds while she demonstrates with step-by-step illustrations and how to hints. Your future quilts will be shouting, "Bravo!"
Much of the drawing will be done on gridded paper (provided), so a small amount of unlined paper is all you'll need.
Lunch will be on your own at any of the local restaurants close to our store.
