Supply List: Things to bring to class.
This class is for individuals wanting to learn how to quilt. The class objective is to learn quilting basis - choosing fabrics, rotary cutting, piecing, quilting in the ditch and binding. This would be a great class for anyone age 4th grade up to adults. Maybe consider bringing a grandchild and working together on the project. Sewing Supply List is provided, but if you aren't sure what these things are, we will assist you on week one.
- Quilt can be made either Lap, Baby, Child or Twin size.
- Week 1 - Selection of fabrics and supplies, explanation of supplies and basic cutting techniques
- Week 2 - Sew Strip Sets and Finish the Pieced Blocks
- Week 3 - Row Assembly and Inner Border and Outer Border
- Week 4 - Finish Top and Discuss Quilting/Binding Options
