Cherry Guidry Week at Nebraska Quilt Company
We’re excited to bring Cherry Guidry of Cherry Blossom’s Quilting to Nebraska Quilt Company in November. The week kicks off with a Cherry Guidry Trunk Show and ends with two work days in our retreat space with plenty of opportunities to be inspired by and learn Cherry. Your registration fee includes all the events listed below.
Monday, November 13
Cherry Guidry Trunk Show with Hot Chocolate Make and Take Project
6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Tuesday, November 14 & Wednesday, November 15
Nordic Tannebaum Workshop
9 am – 4 pm
Breakfast & Lunch provided
Thursday, November 16 & Friday, November 17
Project Work Days
10 am – 5 pm Thursday
10 am – 9 pm Friday (Corresponds with Sip & Sew so food will be provided after 4 pm)
Come use our space to finish up your Nordic Tannebaum quilt or use as a work day for other projects. Our staff will be on hand to help if needed.
10 am - 4 pm Saturday (Hangover Saturday)
Join National Fabric and Pattern Designer Cherry Guidry for a two-day workshop where you will make a beautiful quilt to celebrate the holidays. In class, you'll piece a fun background tree and add 3-D ornaments that are stitched out with your embroidery machine using an in-the-hoop applique technique. All brands of embroidery machines are welcome. The quilt will finish 52" x 69". This is a great opportunity to use up Christmas fabric scraps or to use some of the fabric from Cherry's Nordic Cabin fabric line we have available at Nebraska Quilt Company. Lunch will be included in your fee for Tuesday and Wednesday. When you sign up for this class, you can attend the Monday evening trunk show for FREE.
BONUS Opportunity: Keep your machine and supplies in the Nebraska Quilt Company Education Studio and come back to sew on your own Thursday and Friday at no additional cost. Why not stay and play when you have all of your machine and materials out. It's the perfect opportunity to finish this project!
