Session Description: Negative space doesn’t have to feel intimidating—in fact, it can become one of your favorite creative opportunities. In this inspiring free-motion quilting class, you’ll learn how to confidently fill open areas with designs that feel intentional, balanced, and visually striking.

We’ll explore how sizing and spacing affect the quilted area and how small adjustments can completely transform the final look. Through guided practice, you’ll experiment with free-motion designs that enhance the space rather than overwhelm it.

By the end of class, you’ll leave with a finished quilted art piece and a stronger understanding of how to approach negative space with creativity and confidence.
