You’ll use the color arrangement to create the staircase effect. You can add an Optional Border (Requires additional 1 1/4 yards - Finishing at 60" x 68") to increase the size.
This pattern uses 6 half yard cuts. add one more to do a different fabric for your binding, if you like.
