Our 20,000-square-foot store carries over 8,000 bolts of fabric, a full lineup of sewing and longarm quilting machines, notions, batting, patterns, and supplies. The shop was originally opened in 1996 as Country Traditions and became Nebraska Quilt Company in November 2021 under owners Loren and Karen Paquette.

Vanish water-soluble thread is created from a special blend of ingredients that allows the thread to be sewn or quilted and when immersed in water, dissolve. Vanish-Extra is for quilting on longarm machines. Special Notes: We recommend that you immerse your quilt/project to allow Vanish to thoroughly dissolve. Warm water will speed up the dissolve time.
