Do you want to take your paper piecing to the next level and launch into more challenging projects? Susan Phillips will teach Jacqueline de Jonge's Happiness 2.0 Quilt in this 3-Day Retreat, including the 13 different techniques in this quilt - paper piecing, the star, spikes, inset circles, freezer paper techniques, second seam allowance, how to get a perfect corner, sashing, flying geese, nesting seams, how to pin baste, how to ease fabrics and how to use fabrics sparingly. Once you've mastered the techniques in Happiness 2.0, you can complete 90% of Jacqueline de Jonge's other patterns.
Who should attend this class? Anyone that wants a challenge and wants to do more of Jacqueline de Jonge's patterns. Beginner foundation paper piecing (FPP) students are welcome. We provide lots of instruction and guidance. You CAN do this!
The possibilities are endless with the various colorways that you could use to finish this beautiful quilt. You will complete a small wall hanging of 38 in. x 38 in. at the conclusion of the retreat.
Class will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Lunch will be on your own each of those days. Feel free to bring your own lunch or visit one of our neighboring restaurants.
Fabric must be selected prior to the event.
