You make the top. We finish the quilt.
Our longarm quilting service takes your completed quilt top, pairs it with your backing and batting, and runs it through a professional longarm machine in a continuous edge-to-edge design. You drop it off. We quilt it. You pick up a finished quilt.
What You Bring
Your finished, pressed quilt top — seams flat, stray threads trimmed, no pre-basting. Backing and batting cut at least 8 inches larger than the top on all sides (4 inches for batting). Directional quilts should be marked top/bottom.
What Happens Here
We check in your quilt, verify measurements, and note any seam issues. Your top, batting, and backing go onto the longarm machine. We quilt your chosen design across the entire surface — edge to edge — then trim, hand it back to you rolled, or add binding if requested.
What You Take Home
A fully quilted quilt — stitching complete, layers secured, and ready for binding if not already added. Final measurements are verified at time of quilting and your estimate is adjusted accordingly. Typical turnaround is 3–4 weeks from drop-off.
Heads Up Before You Drop Off
Backing must be at least 8 inches wider and longer than your quilt top. If it's not, we'll need to sew leaders onto the edges ($15 per occurrence). Save yourself that step — measure before you come in.
Clear pricing — know your estimate before you arrive
Quilting is priced per square inch based on your finished quilt top size. Use the table below to estimate your cost. Final measurements are taken at check-in and your estimate is adjusted if needed.
| Quilt Size | Approx Sq In | Standard ($0.025) | Priority ($0.035) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Baby / Crib (36" × 45") | 1,620 | $50.00 minimum | $80.00 minimum |
| Lap / Throw (60" × 72") | 4,320 | $108.00 | $151.20 |
| Twin (66" × 90") | 5,940 | $148.50 | $207.90 |
| Full (80" × 96") | 7,680 | $192.00 | $268.80 |
| Queen (90" × 108") | 9,720 | $243.00 | $340.20 |
| King (108" × 108") | 11,664 | $291.60 | $408.24 |
Sizes above are approximate. Your actual estimate is based on measured dimensions at check-in. A thread & needle charge of $8.00 is included in all orders.
Optional services available at check-in
Leaders
Backing not 8" larger on all sides? We sew leaders onto the edges so it mounts correctly on the machine.
Pieced Backing
We'll piece together your backing fabric if you bring it in panels rather than a single cut.
Square Up Backing
Backing fabric that isn't square gets squared up so it mounts straight on the frame.
Back Pressing
Wrinkled backing? We'll press it flat before loading so it quilts smoothly.
Seam Repair
Open or weak seams in your quilt top are repaired before quilting to prevent tearing under tension.

We Quilt It
Your longarmer loads your quilt, calibrates tension, and stitches your chosen edge-to-edge design across the entire surface.
Finishing Touches
We remove it from the frame, trim the excess backing and batting if binding was added, and roll the finished quilt.

Machine binding — add it at check-in
We offer machine binding as an add-on to your longarm service. Priced per linear inch around the perimeter of your quilt. Bring your binding fabric or we can use your backing.
Standard Binding
Applied to your quilt's perimeter at standard turnaround. A typical queen quilt (90"×108") has about 396 linear inches of perimeter — roughly $119 for binding.
Priority Binding
Need binding completed in 3 business days or less? Priority binding adds to your rush order total. Must be combined with priority quilting service.
Need it faster? Priority service gets you to the front of the line.
Standard turnaround is 3–4 weeks from drop-off. If you have a deadline — a gift, a guild show, a birthday — priority service moves your quilt to the front of the queue and guarantees completion within 10 business days.
Priority quilting is priced at $0.035/sq in ($80 minimum) instead of the standard $0.025. Priority binding adds $0.40/linear in and completes within 3 business days of quilting.
