Rag quilts are playful, cozy, and incredibly satisfying—and yes, you can make one on a longarm! In this fun, project-based workshop, you’ll create a rag quilt sample using Jelly Roll strips while learning techniques that translate beautifully to full-size quilts at home.
This class is packed with hands-on stitching, creative freedom, and plenty of “aha!” moments. You’ll explore how to piece, quilt, and assemble rag quilt blocks on the longarm, add interest with free-motion quilting, and finish with that classic clipped rag texture.
Whether you’re new to longarms or looking for a fresh, creative project, you’ll leave inspired, confident, and full of ideas for making a larger rag quilt on your own machine. Warning: you may leave dreaming about your very own longarm!
