Tell us a little about your current machine and what you want your next machine to help you accomplish.
The NQC Machine Trade-In Program
Your creativity has grown. Your projects may have changed. And the machine that helped bring you this far may no longer be the machine that can take you where you want to go next.
At Nebraska Quilt Company, trading in a machine is not simply about assigning it a value. It is about understanding where you are, where you want to go, and helping you choose the right next step.
We’ll help you find the machine that can take your creativity further.
Something New at NQC
We believe there is a better way to help creators move forward.
At Nebraska Quilt Company, the experience begins with listening. We want to understand what you love to make, what your current machine does well, what has become frustrating, and where you want your creativity to go next.
Then we help you compare your options, experience machines in person, and choose the one that truly fits you.
Your trade-in is evaluated fairly and responsibly. We consider the machine itself, its condition, its accessories, current market demand, and what it can realistically sell for within approximately 30 days.
We are not trying to build a warehouse of used machines. We are helping one machine find its next home while helping you find yours.
Simple, Safe & Personal
Your machine has been part of your creative story. We’ll treat it—and your next chapter—with care.

Bring the machine, power cord, foot control, embroidery unit, hoops, feet, manuals, cases, tables, and other original accessories.
We verify the machine, test its operation, review its condition, and evaluate current market demand.
Try machines, compare features, ask questions, and apply the approved trade-in value toward a qualifying machine purchase.
What Could Be Next?
Your next machine might give you more room, more precision, easier embroidery, stronger quilting tools, or simply more confidence every time you sit down to sew.

Explore This MachineFair, Market-Based Evaluations
Every machine and every market is different. We consider the machine’s brand, model, age, mechanical and cosmetic condition, included accessories, service needs, parts availability, manufacturer support, and current demand.
We also consider what the machine can realistically sell for in today’s market. Our goal is to price pre-owned machines fairly so they can find a new home within approximately 30 days—not base an offer on an inflated online asking price that may never result in a sale.
Come Experience Your Next Machine
A machine can look impressive online. But the moment that matters is when you touch the screen, hear it sew, experience the features, and realize what suddenly feels possible.
Come spend time with us. Try the machines, bring your questions, and let our team help you discover what truly fits.
The NQC Way
This is a better way to understand what you need, solve the right problem, and support what comes next.
Before we talk about machines, we want to understand what you make, what you enjoy, what has become difficult, and what would make sewing more fun.
A new machine should solve something meaningful—more room, easier threading, better lighting, stronger embroidery tools, improved quilting, greater reliability, or more confidence.
We are in the business of selling machines, but the best sale is the right product for the right person and the right reason.
Education, service, encouragement, and support are not afterthoughts. They are part of the experience—and part of the NQC Advantage.
The NQC Advantage
Finding the right machine matters. Knowing how to use it, care for it, and grow with it matters just as much.
Service designed to keep it running in tip top shape.
Education and guidance designed to help you enjoy more of what your machine can do.
Jump the queue and have your machine back quickly.
When your machine isn't working quite right, don't worry. We will take care it along with whatever need to make it right.

Longarm Owners
Longarm machines require a more detailed conversation. Their value may depend on the machine head, frame, computerized quilting system, accessories, condition, installation, transportation, and current market demand.
NQC does not purchase used longarms for cash. Brokerage availability, fees, inspection requirements, transportation, and other terms are reviewed during consultation.

Common Questions
NQC may evaluate sewing machines, embroidery machines, sewing and embroidery combination machines, quilting machines, longarms, sergers, coverstitch machines, and multi-needle embroidery machines. Acceptance depends on the machine’s brand, model, age, condition, serviceability, available parts, accessories, and current demand.
Not necessarily. We may consider machines that need service or repair, but their condition, missing components, and estimated repair costs will affect eligibility and value.
No guaranteed value can be established online. The machine must be brought to NQC so we can verify its identity, inspect its condition, test its operation, and confirm the included accessories.
In-person evaluations protect both the guest and NQC. They allow us to verify the machine, serial number, ownership, condition, accessories, and operation while reducing the risk of fraud, scams, or inaccurate descriptions.
No. Our trade-in program helps guests move into another qualifying machine purchased from Nebraska Quilt Company. Approved trade-in value is applied to that transaction rather than paid in cash.
We consider the machine’s brand, model, age, condition, accessories, service requirements, parts availability, manufacturer support, current demand, and realistic resale value. Our goal is to price pre-owned machines so they can find a new home within approximately 30 days.
Yes. Bring the power cord, foot control, embroidery unit, hoops, presser feet, knee lift, cases, extension tables, manuals, original packaging, and any other accessories you still have. Missing essential accessories may reduce the trade-in value.
Brokerage is a separate service through which NQC may help market a qualifying longarm to a potential buyer. NQC does not purchase the longarm for cash. Brokerage availability, commission, inspection, listing, transportation, and payment terms are established through a separate agreement.
The Next Chapter Starts Here
When you are ready for more—more possibilities, more confidence, more ease, or simply more joy—we will help you explore what comes next.
Trade-in eligibility and value are determined by Nebraska Quilt Company based on the machine’s brand, model, age, physical and mechanical condition, serviceability, included accessories, current market demand, anticipated resale value, and other relevant factors. Machines must be physically inspected and tested before a final value can be established. Trade-in credit has no cash value and may be applied only toward a qualifying machine purchase. Product, brand, promotion, financing, and minimum-purchase restrictions may apply. Nebraska Quilt Company reserves the right to revise or decline any trade-in offer and to modify or end the program at any time.
